Rabindra Nath Tagore.

Average Bengali Babu/Bibi's knowledge of Rabindranath Tagore's works is usually limited within those pieces which form a part of the school/college syllabi. But the same Bangali would purchase all the volumes of "Rabindra Rachanabali" and put those as a decorating item in their drawing rooms. Rabindra Sangeet and Rabindra Nritya-Natya, by which the majority bengali swear are but two weaker contributions of Rabindranath. In fact the Bengalis have transformed these two into a made-easy for entry into the world of culture.
